Hokitika Airport

The Hokitika airport is the only domestic airport on the west coast with regular flights from Christchurch International Airport. Getting in to Hokitika is getting easier thanks to recent improvements to local road systems. Driving is a favourite way to get to Hokitika. However, visitors also enjoy the drive as an opportunity to take in the scenery while enjoying a shuttle or coach ride from Christchurch or one of the other nearby towns.
